I'm off to the cinema tonight and I've decided to trust the film critics who have given this film 4 and 5 stars. I hope it's not rubbish..I love Matt Damon.

Yes, and it's brilliant! Left some stuff from the book out, but nothing that ruined the logic or the story (and they would have to have left something out). Very atmospheric, cinematography and casting was superb. Kids (aged 14 and 11) loved it too and 11 year old read the book cover to cover the next day

I loved it. I'm having a rubbish time of it lately and it actually made me smile and forget about my woes for a while. Plus, Matt Damon. Oh and Jessica Chastain. And Sean Bean. Bloody brilliant imo!

I had no idea it was adapted from a book.

It was good, long and a bit flabby in the middle though. Obviously they'd had to avoid swearing to get a 12A certificate so there were some weird bits with adults saying "f word" and "go have sex with yourself" to each other

Overall, I enjoyed it a lot, some very tense bits without it being gory too.

I have ADHD. The only films I've ever truely enjoyed are the Final Destination series and the works of Tarrantino and Edgar Wright.

I have, I loved it. It's surprisingly funny and upbeat.

Even the DCs happily sat through it.
