6/7 year olds home movie party recommendations?

Hello all

DD has decided she would like a movie night for her birthday party. Can anyone please recommend a movie that would keep a bunch of 6/7 year olds entertained and hopefully chuckling away? Can be recent or a classic. My mind is blank apart from things like Minions which no doubt they have all seen before.

Thanks!

I recommend: Despicable Me 1 or 2, Frozen, Big Hero 6

Annie (the recent remake is really fun IMO)
would she like Tinkerbell and the Neverbeast / Pirate Fairy etc?
for classics, how about the Madagascar series, Ice Age series, Matilda

At that age they don't usually mind seeing films again.
Big hero 6
Lego movie
Are always popular here.
More recent ones like Shaun the Sheep or Paddington.
Older Disney like Aladdin? Beauty and the Beast?

Thanks everyone - great suggestions. Maybe it will turn into a movie marathon!

The Emperor's New Groove! It's brilliant and not as well known as some other Disney films. It's my favourite Grin

Home (the film)

Cinderella? I love the new one.

We've had a few movie parties - invitations that look like film entry tickets, hot dogs and popcorn and a poster of the film on the door

The only thing I'd say is have a couple of games up your sleeve in case they get bored of the film half way through. Also factor in film timings plus cake.
