Anyone else disappointed with the block busters that are out now?

I saw Fantastic four today and was bored. It's an origins film and spen most of the time explaining the origins of the group but the finale was absolute pants. The actors in in it are far better than the film and were wasted IMHO. I am glad I saw it on cheapy Tuesday.

I saw Mission Impossible last week and compared to the previous MI film was disappointed ad just wasn't wowed.

These are both films I had been looking am I alone in being disappointed?

I generally find that most films that are planned as blockbusters tend to be disappointing. That's why I avoid most of them, and for the ones I do see, I check the ratings and nevertheless go with low expectations.
