i watched this again last night
argh it's so sad and brilliant and beautiful to watch (especially Terence Stamp and the sword scene)

love that too, was reading about alan bates, he had a strange life, (was a daily mail link} such perfect films though, i suppose picnic at hanging rock could be another great film of mine..

Remake of The Gobetween due out in November. Should be interesting. I love the famous first line, "the past is a foreign country".
