any one know when "happy feet" the movie is out in England?

Happy Feet is released nationwide on the 8th December. Advance previews are being shown 2nd and 3rd December.

I read the 17th Nov

It was released in the US on the 17th November.

Its not on general release in this country till the 8th December.

Not sure I should say this but my friend gave me a copy last night (pirate)! Oh dear. It is very, very good. I know pirates are not good but I normally buy the pirate, see what it is like and, if it is good, like Cars, do end up buying the proper version.

My 5 year old and 9 year old both enjoyed it.

DS1 is going to see it with his school in December.

Bumblelion - I have a friend who I occasionaly buy pirates off - thankfully hers are very good ones - and really the quality difference is no negligble (sp) - I should add that of our collection of over 70 DVD's only about 6 or 7 of them are pirates

Out of interest, was the pirate version filmed by camcorder in the cinema? If so could you tell whether it was filmed in the States?

I only lent it from my friend to see if it is worth seeing "as one should" (in the cinema, proper DVD). I suppose the quality was not as sharp as a "quality" one would be. Can't access the Warner Brothers website (no Flash Plug In). What does it say? The copy we had was in a spanish cover! but the film was English.

The trailers look great , think its my turn to go to the pictures!

Its fantastic, kids will love it, adults too.
