What films do people recommend on Netflix? I don't mind what to watch, apart from horror.

By chance, I started watching The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Got absolutely hooked and then realised that Series 2 was on BBC 2. The finale is tonight and will hopefully go on Netflix as well.

Great cast and writing, lots of lovely, hunky Danes but also humour and tension. I've already watched all of them twice.

Love it and lots of people seem to like it more than GofT and The Vikings. Great Guardian blog to go with it too. Comments are usually very funny. It made me start reading the original books as well.

13 Reasons Why. My 12 yo has started to watch this TV program called 13 Reasons Why. She said that it's made for people her age but when she described it to her it seemed like it should be a 15. It includes suicide, rape and bullying.
I searched it up and it's supposed make people aware of suicides and bullying. Does anyone have an idea about it?

Yes I've watched 13 reasons why and I found it awkward to watch in certain places. I felt quite despondent for a while after watching the show and that's as an adult. It depends on how mature your teen is. It's based on a suicide and the 13 reasons why this teen girl killed

herself. At first you do think the girl is
drama queen but some really bad things do happen to her in a short space of time. Also it shows the other kids have issues in their life as well and are dealing with them in their own way. You should watch yourself and discuss the issues with your child.
