The Nutcracker - any DVD that's closest to the original story?

Hi, I'm taking my little ones (2 and 5 year olds) to a child-friendly Nutcracker ballet in January. We've been reading the story at bedtime and they really love it. I'd like to buy a DVD which would have music from Tchaikovsky with the story that resembles as close as possible to the original story.

I've had a look on Amazon, and there were a few suggestions there but quite hard to make a decision. Mumsnetters - help?

Thank you!

Have you listened to the Ann Rachlin narrated version? My girls who are 2 and 3 absolutely love it. It doesn't have all the music but she tells the story over the music. I know it's not a DVD but it would get them used to the music.

We were given this dvd many years ago and my daughter still loves and regularly watches it (to the extent that she doesn't want to go see a live performance because it won't be "right" Hmm)
