Beetlejuice and Gremlins are both 15 cert.

Ghostbusters would be my choice too. It's brilliant fun, and just a little bit scary.

I think Gremlins is a 12 cert these days, btw.

I think the 'old' 15 ratings would probably be 12As these days. I'm a bit manic re ratings tbh, but both of mine had seen Gremlins etc by 12.

I think Gremlins 2 is more child-appropriate than the first one. I watched them both at the weekend! The second one is a bit lighter in my opinion.
