In an effort to spend more time together as a family, we have made Friday evening Film Night for a little while.
DH and I are making an effort to be here and not out partying ( like that usually happens ha ha) and DS is not playing golf and we are hanging out together.
Only problem is, finding films suitable for all of us.

Last night we watched Nemo but DS (13) sneaked a off to watch golf.
The other week it was Jaws with DH stopping it in time to gloss over the gruesome bits.
DCs will watch Home Alone until the cows come home but DH and I are bored with those.
Toy Story has been done to death.

Any other films perhaps not so well known but really good that you'd recommend please? We have Sky but not Netfliks.
TIA

Can you maybe go back to some of tge good 90s films?
Drop Dead Fred
Beetlejuice
Honey I Shrunk The Kids

Or if your ds likes Golf have you seen Happy Gilmore? Could do a bit of a run of his films, Big daddy etc.

Wall-E is also really good if they like Animated films, and Ice Age.

Titanic

Simpsons movie
Bedtime stories
Agree with old films too but can't think of any.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Happy Gilmore we've seen but I didn't know there were others in serious.
Drop dead Fred I've never heard of so that's going on the list. Beetle juice I'd forgotten about so that one too.
The others you mentioned we've either seen or don't like (I don't care for The Simpsons at all).
I'm trying to think of old one too. I'd like the, to watch films I enjoyed at their age. Trouble is, I'm so old I can't remember any of them!!

Not so much in the series - just with the same actor in and similar humour.

Jumanji
Flubber
Mrs Doubtfire
Beethoven
