brilliantly mind-f*cking. what a bizarre confusing film. it makes you think, especially the ending, i found that so sad in a strange way.

so so weird.

Yeah, I remeber thinking this was brilliant ages ago.
My brother is mentally ill and I wanted my mum to watch it...cant remeber if she did or not.
great film though, isnt it?

wuzzlefraggle · 17/09/2006 10:55

oooo, brill film...which version did you watch? theres a normal one and a directors cut and they have different endings (i really do need to get out more lol)

SoupDragon · 17/09/2006 10:57

Fantastic isn't it?

misdee · 17/09/2006 11:01

it was on sky last night, so think its just the normal edit.

was brilliant. how many different ways the story could've ended was an eye opening.

Absolutely brilliant film, one of the best I've ever seen. I am fascinated by how one little thing being different can have such catastrophic effects later on.

I read a book when I was a teeanger about the butterfly effect, have no idea what it was called or who by, but things like this have fascinated me ever since.

Amazing film.

misdee · 17/09/2006 11:06

i've heard about it, but wasnt sure if i'd like. dh chose the film last night (getting the most out of our sky package which we can afford when he is home) and i am glad he did.

some films stay with you forever, i think this will be one of them.

Which one did you see the directors cut or the other version...?

I've seen both and both were brilliant.

donnie · 17/09/2006 11:16

what is it about ? sorry but I am always on the lookout for good films but have never even heard of this one.

charliecat · 18/09/2006 14:10

bump for donnie, im not even going to try and explain it was ages since I watched it!

wuzzlefraggle · 18/09/2006 16:24

very difficult film to explain donnie lol

eeeeerrrm, ashton kutcher discovers that he can go back to certain mile stones in his life and that by altering little things it can change the out come of his future (and everybody he knows). thats a very very very basic description. its a very poweful film and one that i think i'll be watching later on

donnie · 21/09/2006 13:53

thanks wuzzlefraggle ( great name btw!)

FlameSparrow · 21/09/2006 14:09

I sat there stunned afterwards. I didn't want to ever watch it again though, even though I thought it was a really good film... does that make sense? I was pregnant at the time though - it tends to skew my perception

donnie · 21/09/2006 15:12

OMG I have to rent this out !

wuzzlefraggle · 22/09/2006 11:10

no probs donnie, and thanks its a brill film, and is on sky movies quite a lot
