And we all enjoyed it. (DS 3, DDs (almost) 5 and 6)

Both my ds's aged 4 1/2 and 3 loved it and so did I. Missed Clarkson, maybe he wasn't in the USA version. We're now looking forward to Barnyard which is a NickJr movie about animals who behave like humans. That's next week's trip to the movie theatre. They run cheap matinees over here in the US $5 each. The drinks and sodas cost more.

Oh what a shame it is so long. Was thinking about taking DS along to the cinema for the first time as he adores cars (cried at the italian Job DP was watching when the cars went off the cliff ). But no way would my DS sit still for that long. A friend has a pirate copy too. We might have to borrow it.

If he's had enough after say 80 minutes (average children's film length) then leave - it's not like you wasted any money, after all if you'd seen Over the Hedge it would be over by the time you leave.

You may be surprised.

I took ds1 9, ds2 6, dd1 3 and dd2 2 last week.dd2 fell asleep half way through,dd1 fell asleep near the end, ds2 was fidgetty near the end, ds1 was glued to it.
Not the best film ive seen but it was ok.

Anyone know if there are any special offers on tickets for it? I'm finding it all to expensive, we saw over the hedge recently and I just can't afford another trip so soon.
