Classic Western for an eight year old?

Just that - DD doing the Wild West as a topic at school and I'd like to show her a classic Western, but not too violent or upsetting. Any ideas?

What about Little House on the Prairie? When I was her age I also watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and a lot of the nastier stuff just went straight over my head.

I'm sure I remember watching a whole series of Westerns with my grandad when I was about that age but I can't remember which they were.

High noon? Iirc it's all suspense and not that violent

High Noon ( Gary Cooper ) or The Magnificent Seven ( Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn etc ) or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford )
