We bought a zoo, heartwarming but some swearing

Took my DD to see this on Saturday and was a bit at some of the language considering it is a PG. Words such as bullshit and holy shit feature and at one point the angelic daughter utters the line "everyone calls you a dick but I don't think you are". This prompted the girl sitting next to me to ask "mummy, what's a dick?"

Apart from that, the movie was a lovely tale of a family coming to terms with bereavement and taking on a new adventure, make sure you take some tissues.

Both children give great performances and I always love to watch Matt Damon although here he is a little chunkier than in his Bourne days. Still has that wonderful voice though.

Its a lovely film. I didn't notice the swearing , but then I have teenagers so not so sensitive to it. Also seen a few 12s recently that have the f word in.
Matt Damon is gorgeous even though he he's broadened out and the little girl is so cute without being annoying.
Would love to go to the real zoo in dartmoor

i thought it was pretty bad, not as bad as Jack and Jill but i couldn't wait for it to end.

I took DD and some friends to see it and we all really enjoyed it. I've been to the Dartmoor zoo which is fab.

Watched this last night and what a great film I laughed and cried and had a nice heart warming feel to the end!! Some minor swear words some of which were cleverly drowned out but tbh my kids probably hear worse in the playground. And they know they are not allowed to say them. Recommend this film think its my favourite of the year so far!!!
