Shall I complain to the cinema, just for the hell of it?

Took ds to see Lion, Witch & The Wardrobe at Bournemouth Odeon. The quality of the film was poor (lots of black spots and scratches), and I don't know what was showing on the adjoining screem, probably King Kong, but I was two seats from the wall and could easily hear the soundtrack, which detracted from LWW in its quiter moments. Not bothered if they refund or send me tickets, just feel that they should be made aware of customer dissatisfaction ...?

Yes, go for it. You might want to say that you are giving them a right to reply before you send a letter to the local press. It helps concentrate their minds.

i would.

Agree, go for it. It's not cheap is it? You shouldn't have to put up with poor quality and hearing other films is terrible. They need to sort themselves out!

Right then, I will!

Yup, definitely. It's not on.

I have often done this when the nice gentle film I am watching is interrupted by gunfire etc from adjacent cinema. We do it straight afterwards and normally get complete refund
