It was lovely - as expected it made me cry. Took my two boys (12 & 10) and warned them that there would be no special effects/talking animals etc, but they enjoyed it too.

It was a super, old fashioned, yarn that doesn't need to rely on computer trickery to entertain.

I have promised dd1 (6) that we'll go tomorrow. hope she enjoys it. she loved Black Beauty over the holidays (the newish one) so I am presuming its more of the same.
