what's the woody allen one when he's trying to impress a woman, and he flicks his hand , the record flies out of the sleeve, he falls over etc...it's either manhattan or annie hall - makes me pmsl anyway

My best Woody Allen is The Sleeper, but all his early ones are real ROFL-fests. Could that be Play it Again Sam Teeavee?

Oooooo yes - my fave film is some like it hot.
have to also say that i saw zoolander for the 1st time the other week and i was only 2 wks post c-section and had to hold a pillow over my stomach from laughing so much - it was agony!
(and i'm pretty scornful of what passes as 'comedy' much of the time when it comes to films and usually sit through so-called funny films with a mrs kiss-my-arse expression on my face)

I'm just LOL at the thought of Airplane: "I speak Jive".

Sleeper is so funny too

some of the older Chevy Chase films are quite funny (but they are silly funny rather than clever funny if tou know what I mean!) - Fletch and National Lampoon's European Vacation (but they are quite old). Also older films like Blues Brothers and Stakeout are always worth a giggle.

there's one - or is it the same one? where he's trying to cook lobster with diane keaton too, and the lobster escape behind the fridge - another classic scene

life of brian - although you have to be careful if you go with monty python - not to everyone's taste!!

One of my favs is a French film with Daniel Auteuil "Romuald et Juliette". He is a very proper businessman who falls in love with the office's black cleaning lady.
