I mean I like demented slightly hysterical films of this type but I just didn't really care about any of these slightly cartoonish people.
If you think of Mia Farrow in Rosemary's baby, she seems so real so plausibly vulnerable.
Natalie Portman does do a really good job but I just didn't care about her enough to engage, it seemed too gothic somehow.
It's very slick etc but somehowa bit too shallow.
