Films for teenage girls?

A friend of mine is having problems with her 15 year old girl - she's just discovered the morning after pill in her bedroom and discussions have ensued... She was asking for recommendations for relevant films for her - about coming of age etc. It used to be Pretty in Pink and the Breakfast Club for me, so I'm not very helpful! I wondered if anyone could help. She's a film-lover and not a book reader, really. Thanks!

Juno. It's a fab film, really sensitive but not mawkish, and your friend will enjoy it too. DD loves it. Also loves Napoleon Dynamite, looking at things from a boy's point of view.

Grease? I loved that film as a young teenager but dont know if that's what you're looking for? It does give a perspective on relationships and how they make you feel, and the teenage anxiety of meeting a boy u like.

Also maybe 'Angus, thongs and Perfect snogging'. Its about the ups and downs of life as a teenage girl, the angst of growing up and discovering boys. Its very funny and light-hearted but based on those real-life moments.

Aquamarine is a really sweet film about friendship and "love". Other teen faves that are slightky harder hitting are Mean Girls, She's the man,Clueless, 10 things I hate about you,John Tucker must die and the Bring it on series.
