... who would you choose?

We were just wondering...

Please post the name of your most-wanted-for-an-MN-webchat actor of choice (and by actor, we do mean man or woman) here - and, once it becomes apparent who's the most lusted sought after, we'll see what we can do.

No promises, mind!

Pierce Brosnan

as he seems to be so normal - has a gorgeous non-stick-thin wife and lots of children.

or

Angelina Jolie

cause she would faint when faced with the vipers of MN

GraceK · 07/01/2011 22:44

Another vote for George Clooney - seems brighter than the average actor & has had to work to get where he is today.

Damien Lewis - nice to see a genuine ginger getting lead roles & v amusing on Have I Got News For You.

Paul Bettany usually does interesting stuff.

Dame Harriet Walter. Emma Thompson.

Jon Hamm or Christina Hendricks (both from Mad Men).

TmiEdward · 07/01/2011 22:48

Pfft, you know the TwiSluts are right. NO MF SHAME!

evilgiraffe · 07/01/2011 23:16

What's that? TSA solidarity?

Robert Pattinson, please Grin

If we can't have him, I'd like Bruce Willis or Morgan Freeman or Tom Hanks. Or Tom Felton or Judi Dench or Alan Rickman.

I think RPattz and both Toms would be most fun, mind you.

bibbitybobbityhat · 07/01/2011 23:19

Emma Thompson - I do so love her.
or
my old flame Colin Firth heh heh Smile

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 07/01/2011 23:20

Oh, yeah, MNHQ.

MNHQ: 'What film star should we meet?'
Everyone: 'JOHNNY DEPP!'
MNHQ: 'What? You all want Johnny Depp? Well, that comes as a total shock to us. I guess we'll have to invite him into the office or something. Tch! How annoying.'

Honeymum · 07/01/2011 23:41

Another vote for Robert Pattinson please!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 08/01/2011 08:12

That is becoming clear, Edward Grin

mylifewithstrangers · 09/01/2011 10:41

Oh, oh, oh, oh

I know they are not actors but PLEASE, PLEASE can we have John Torode or Gregg Wallace or (even better) Michel Roux Jr.

Surely you don't need to cogitate too much over what an excellent suggestion that is!

Merrylegs · 09/01/2011 15:15

"Damien Lewis - nice to see a genuine ginger getting lead roles"

What, as oppose to all those fake gingers just trying it on?!

HardyPerineum · 09/01/2011 18:28

Hmm. In no particular order and for a variety of reasons:

Jason Isaacs
Tony Curran
Derren Brown
Zachary Quinto

DandyDan · 10/01/2011 10:41

Emma Thompson
Robert Duvall
Jason Isaacs
Alan Rickman
Kenneth Branagh
Daniel Day-Lewis

jonicomelately · 10/01/2011 16:44

Could I put in a last minute plea for Michael Sheen please Smile

pozzled · 13/01/2011 16:15

Ewan McGregor

strandednomore · 13/01/2011 16:21

Oh definitely Tom Cruise. But only if he agreed to wear a lie detector.

DirtyMartini · 13/01/2011 16:21

Emma Thompson -- I like her a lot

Maggie Smith -- I for some reason had a massive girl crush on her when I was a young child Hmm, and although I can no longer remember why, I still think she rocks

Pierce Brosnan -- never would have thought of this but as others have suggested, I think he would be really good value and get into the spirit of it

NOT Johnny Depp cos of the Polanski thing

NOT Angelina cos she wouldn't read/respond genuinely IMO

DirtyMartini · 13/01/2011 16:21

AAAAARGH. I DID NOT MEAN to do strikeouts.

TrillianAstra · 13/01/2011 16:27

Liam Neeson - relevant to MN as he is a lone parent now.

He falls into the group of 'but isn't it a shame not to hear that lovely voice'.

TrillianAstra · 13/01/2011 16:28

Love HeathenofSurburbia's interpretation

How come my italics didn't work?

Jason Isaacs!

seaweedhead · 13/01/2011 16:52

Helena Bonham Carter- she's so pleasantly eccentric Grin

thighsmadeofcheddar · 13/01/2011 16:53

Cate Blanchett, pretty please.
Successful working mother, outstanding actress, not a bit of botox to be seen.

SookyStackhouse · 13/01/2011 16:59

David Tennant
James McAvoy
Colin Firth
Ewan MacGregor
Angelina Jolie
