DD went to see it with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looks like I've had a lucky escape Grin

(OTOH Mama Mia v enjoyable ... well, if you were a teen in their heyday it is Grin)

SnowMuchToBits · 03/01/2011 22:25

The book was quite good though............

I would've gone if there'd been giant horses...

moondog · 03/01/2011 22:26

I genuinely thought it would be a loving retelling of the story.

Well i watched it and took it lightly, i mean it has Jack Black in it so wasnt expecting it to be anything like the book.

Wouldnt say it is as bad as Mamma Mia but equally not the best film its been hyped up to be, although very popular as the room was full when i went.
