Anyone been to see it yet? I'm thinking of taking the children (7 and 8) to see it during the holidays.

I took a class of 9 - 11 year olds to see it yesterday and they liked it. There are a few bits at the end that might have the adults tearing up slightly :)

There are genuinely funny bits at the beginning (thanks to irritating cousin Eustace!) but the sea serpent at the end of the film might be a bit scary for someone a bit sensitive.

The other teacher has two boys (5 & 7) and she said she would take them to see it, although would forewarn them about the serpent. I hope that helps!

We absolutely loved it. Two adults and 4 girls, 2 aged 6 and 2 aged 8. Lots of funny bits in it and kept us on the edge of our seats.

a couple of tearful scenes but all in all, well recommended.

My friend said this was one of the best 3D films she had seen.

Saw it yesterday. There were families with 2 yr olds there who chattered through the whole thing - infuriating.

The sea-serpent fight went on too long, but they got the ending just right, and Eustace was very good indeed. It was just the sort of film though where there wasn't much for Lucy and Edmund to actually "do". It's an episodic journey rather than one plot.
