bonkerz · 25/09/2005 21:17

Dh and I have a vast collection of hoorer films! SAW was definately scary and had to watch it twice!!
We really like the old horrers, some are funny and some are really gory especially the ones that were banned and have been re released!
Loved freddie versus jason and really want to go see night of the living dead at the cinema!

waterfalls · 25/09/2005 21:19

Has anyone seen the Changling (quite old) about the boy in the well.

starlover · 25/09/2005 21:19

saw is the only one that has ever made me have nightmares! although think pg hormones were partly to blame

misdee · 25/09/2005 21:20

freddie v jason had me in stiches. that was brilliant.

spursmum · 25/09/2005 21:20

I love my horror films too but for some reasons it's only those 2 films that can still scare me even though I know whats going to happen!!!!

The Texas chainsaw massacre, is freaky when you consider it is based on true facts.

steffee · 25/09/2005 21:31

Children of the Corn scared me too.

spursmum · 25/09/2005 21:31

I think anything that is based in truth scares us because of the reality aspect.

The Last Horror Movie really freaked me out and I have seen a lot of horrors. Its about a serial killer who does footage (with his cameraman) of his killings. The fact that you could believe that this could really happen is the most chilling!!!

crazydazy · 25/09/2005 21:33

Sorry crossed post!!! Thats right Spursmum as Blair Witch really freaked me out too as it was so real!!!!

spursmum · 25/09/2005 21:35

I find that the crappy B-movie serial killer films send chills down my spine because they are/were real people.

The Blair Witch Project made me boak.

'Angel' frightened me, so did 'The Ring', but the Japanese version. Freaky deaky.

Strangely enough, a series on ITV began last night called 'Afterlife' and it freaked me out.

crazydazy · 25/09/2005 21:37

I watched that, it was really good. Can't wait for next week...am interested in that sort of thing though!!! That bit at the end with the little boy was quite freaky!!!

spursmum · 25/09/2005 21:38

WHAT? i missed it!!! dammit!! Is Afterlife a series?

OP posts:
vickitiredmum · 25/09/2005 21:40

Yes it is a series - see now things about that dont bother me, but im not scared of ghosts as such.

Very good program as it goes!
