I’ve just heard about this on the Channel 4 news. Really upsetting to think that the children were killed because the family court insisted on contact with a domestic abuser.

I was aware this was happening (mainly from threats on here) but surely there needs to be accountability for the decisions the state has made? Especially when the mother has generally warned that this is a risk?

It's bad enough when the mother has told the court that the father is violent, it's incomprehensible when the children themselves are frightened of him and have to be forced to visit him. Utterly traumatising.

The lady whose two boys were murdered by their own father is simply magnificent. She carries on because she can't let this dangerous situation continue. My heart breaks over and over for her.

Yes I agree @MorrisZapp I’m not sure how she carries on but it’s inspiring that she does continue to try and change the way the courts work for the benefit of others.

If you wanted to destroy a woman’s life, the most effective way to do this is to hurt her child. We all know this and yet we let abusive (to the mum) fathers see their children. Children being killed is the result.

Yes completely agree @MrsTerryPratchett just wonder if there’s is anything we can do. I’ve dropped an email to my MP but it feels like that’s not enough.
