I was brought up in a time when porn consisted of top shelf magazines and the odd dodgy VHS tape and I find the ubiquity of porn now very disturbing.
Sex has changed from fun experimentation to include choking, hair pulling and anal. It's devoid of focus on the woman's pleasure because men have watched hours of dead eyed women being pumelled and pounded.
The Pelicot trial opened our eyes to just how many seemingly ordinary men will abuse a woman if they don't think they'll be caught. IMO that dehumanisation of women came about partly because of porn use.
