Heard this last night and thought it was brilliant - so highlighting here if others want to catch it.

Two generations of women talking of their activism in ending violence against women and girls. Really highlighted the struggles, their bravery and the toll of the intimidation they face.

Yes, it was fascinating.

Particularly the observation on how younger feminists dismissed the concerns of an older generation because they simply didn’t understand just how hard won were all the things they now take for granted. Nor how valuable these things are if you had to live without them.

The revelations of the severe harassment and threat meted out to feminist activists was utterly shocking.
