Child sexual exploitation material fucking everywhere

I just Googled a friend's email address to check it. Bog standard address with a bog standard female name in it, say '[email protected]' (not the actual name).

What's the first hit on Google? "11 year old Anna's first blow job" 😞. This is with moderate safe search on too (I can't use full safe search because I'm a doctor and it filters out medical words). Only I use this laptop, I'm logged into Google as me, and I have never viewed porn of any description, let alone CSE material, so this has not happened because of some Google algorithm about stuff I have viewed in the past.

It's everywhere.

I'd like to know how to flag it to Google, they need to step up and sort it out.
(In my case this isn't about algorithms either, it happens if I'm logged in or not, with a clear cache and software that enables anonymity.)

That is horrific and so depressing, OP. Can you report it to the IWF? report.iwf.org.uk/en

God. That is awful.

Something similar happened when I did a search recently for Christmas gifts. Goggling "Legwarmers Girls" does not return safe images.

Google need to do something about it. They are facilitating CSA.

It's a good point about reporting. I have to admit I was so shocked that I didn't think of it. Would I have to click on the link to do so, though? I really don't want to do that.

No you dont have to click on it to report it to IWF, you need the URL and thats easier to do on a PC than a phone. Right click on the link and copy to the clipboard.
IWF are a charity that take reports about CSA - I'd like to challenge Google about contuinually throwing up porn links to non porn related searches.

Sadly it isn't just Google.
I was on pixabay, searching for something quite innocent for work.
Up came full frontal female nudity. Completely perplexed why.

On the tube, when it was v busy I was looking up pics of hamsters for DD.

Spelt it with n by accident.

Boom face full of v explicit pics, mortified.

It assumed I meant X hamster obv.

This really bothers me, hugely bothers me.

That a little kid googling hamster pics, or the above examples, could well get this shit back.

The conversations always focus on children seeking out. The fact can get this back with innocent inputs is appalling.

Search engines could I'm sure pretty easily only return porn if search terms obv wanting it. (Aanything they have ID as porn would mean a massive chunk of these hits gone).

Children search innocent things that men have decided are to do with their cocks rather than what they actually are.

Schoolgirl anything in particular which I mean that's so standard but it's grim as fuck.

Teen this and that.

Anything to do with girls and underwear.

No reason little girl would not be browsing new things for school. I mean you can imagine. Girl school knickers. I mean I wouldn't Google that because I know that it essentially says I want to look at underage/ look underage female children porn.

8yo girls don't tend to know that though. Because it's not obvious into you learn what men are into and what terms they use. And we'll it's fucking grim isn't it.

The fact that these things are massively primarily linked with porn, due to massive amount of internet traffic is porn related. Rather than what they actually ARE.

When you think about it, it's a stark illustration of how men's erections are more important than anything else really.

Oh god this is fucking depressing.

I was a support staff in a school in my 20s. Used to have to Google image search on the interactive whiteboard fairly often as an emergency teaching aid (not a mainstream school) but always be poised to turn it off because whatever you searched, somewhere down the list of images there'd be tits. At the very least.

I found it funny but irritating. But, depressingly, didn't really question it back then.

The clever men who run Google could surely stop this if they wanted Hmm

We have our internet set so dodgy stuff is blocked. Porn, suicide stuff, pro anorexia etc
Worth doing.

But yes it shouldn't be necessary.

CheeseMmmm · 22/12/2021 21:33

Yes of course worth doing.

As with so much the default is parents fault. They failed.

Fact that plenty of posters aren't that tech savvy, forget, try and can't get hang of it and give up, CBA, don't care, etc.

Plus phones, going to friends houses etc. Doing it own home doesn't guarantee anything.

These are SOCIETAL issues. Saying every single family in the UK should do xyz. Every time change net provider, new phones, etc etc. And that doesn't mean much IRL anyway.

Blame parents (mum, let's be realistic) is the usual easy answer. Stupid woman. Did it wrong. Now child vanished to meet man pretending to be boy on net. Irresponsible, asking for trouble, neglect.

Much easier than tackling the actual problem which is massive and solutions are ??? due to nature of net. The idea of men having a little more effort to find their teen porn? Unthinkable, they won't accept it, censorship, million other excuses.

Fucking appalling state of affairs.

It is my worst nightmare As a parent of kids and working with kids.

Absolutely these clever tech folk could throw some money at it to find a solution, but money is more important than protecting children clearly.

Report
CheeseMmmm · 23/12/2021 02:06

And why is there money meaning even Google not made obvious easy change to search terms- hits.

Because, erections. Drawn all over the place since forever. A symbol of male dominance, power. In language, imagery etc so often reference to erect penis, penetrating as aggressive, dominant, powerful etc.

And of course plenty of men feel irresistible need to show their incredible manhood to women and girls around the place. Waiting at the bus stop? Look! Look at my penis! It's hard.. I'm looking at you and touching it... You don't want to see? You feel a bit scared? Well so you should. You understand how important and impressive and powerful my penis is...

Impact of hard on most important thing there is, global historical, shouldn't be ignored..!

Agree totally with @CheeseMmmm and others saying more could be done by tech companies. Pornographers and paedophiles are cunning: I am sure that they would find ways around any filters, but at least we could stop people - especially children - stumbling across this stuff so easily.

Ever since the 60s, any attempt to control porn has been framed as the ignorant prudes vs the enlightened liberals. There is also a pretence that there is some magical iron-clad barrier between pornography about sexy schoolgirls, and very young women generally, versus using under-age girls to make pornography. I'm using the general term of porn to make the point that, far from being two separate things, porn about under-age women and porn featuring under-age women are part of the same spectrum of repugnant sexual exploitation of teenage girls. Obviously, on top of this, porn that features children is criminal and CSE, but it is fed by the relentless sexual objectification of teenage girls generally.

Back in the 90s there was a young woman in my general age group locals everyone knew each other situation who did photo shoots and some vids 'erotic' aka porn (what it contained back then v different).

I remember saying to friend. You know X does this, don't really get it. She looks about 12. Friend looked at me like I dim and said. Yes. That's the whole point.

It's not that school uniforms are intrinsically sexy. Or knee high socks and plaits etc etc.

It's who is wearing them.

And what happens? The male cor sexy sexy. Means girls uniforms get altered. My DDs knee high socks banned. Because loads of men (and spreads across society so link is ubiquitous) find girls over puberty whatever age that happens. Sexually desirable.

And still teen, school uniform etc is aok along with really awful racist violent etc genres.

And girls have to change this and that to avoid girl in uniform age 13 looking like porn.

It's so fucked up.

And it's always been this way. Leave men alone. Don't even think about that side.

Ban xyz uniform norms instead...

As if the porn won't follow the uniforms...
