I heard Mina Smallman on LBC news tonight (6 Dec 2021). I can't find a link anywhere, hopeful someone better at googling can provide a link.

Her press interview outside the Old Bailey, after the sentencing of the two police officers who took pictures of her daughters, was just inspiring. She is a strong woman and mother and I just wanted to acknowledge that.

She understood clearly that these men did what they did due to misogyny.

I am so impressed by her strength and humanity. The world could do with a lot more people like her and a hell of a lot fewer like the two wastes of skin sentenced yesterday.

She is an amazing woman. Shining through such devastation. My heart goes out to her.

Incredible woman. Such a beautiful heart. I’ve just googled her to see what she said and a wiki link also popped up; she’s a retired Anglican priest and former school teacher.

Echoing the comments about what an amazing woman she is. And how awful that those former officers' behaviour added to the the distress that she and her family have experienced.

She is remarkable and inspiring. I hope she has good support around her.

She is also on the BBC's list of 100 inspiring women of 2021.

Absolutely phenomenal woman. She is graceful and strong in such awful times, a real inspiration

Yep! I thought so too after seeing her on TV.

Her remarks about smiling and winking at the criminal in the dock when he was trying to intimidate her were astounding. It takes real real courage to do that.

I've been in a court room with family members glaring at me and I just looked down - if it ever happens again I will do what Mina did.

Apparently, the criminal complained that she was making him feel uncomfortable smiling back at him.

Echo this completely. Her courage and strength is immense in the light of the horrific murder and then betrayal of her beautiful girls.

I’m just so sad I had to know anything about her though and she isn’t being a wonderful woman in her ordinary life and with her daughters instead 💐
