... but I can't find one that isn't terribly twee or really just a rainbow one with feminist written on it.

Ideally purple or purple green and white and possibly with a women's symbol.

I can't wear ones with 'provocative' messages. It needs to be subtle.

Etsy ? I have a ribbon in suffragette colours that I often wear on my jacket and a "I incite this meeting to rebellion" mug, unfortunately we have to wear corporate lanyards but I'd buy a green, white and purple one if I could.

There's also some lovely ones in the lesbian pride range. I don't know if you are a lesbian or not, but if not could you wear one as an ally? It's quite pretty.

You could try a tartan ribbon, they come in dozens of colours - try "Pride of Scotland". if that's not cultural appropriation obviously!
