sorry don't know what to do. It's got too much, I hate myself. Taken weeks worth of venlafaxine and some ibuprofen. Phoned cmht out of hours but they said I'm not on their caseload. I'm scared. Shall I just go to bed

Please call nhs direct and tell them what you have taken or an ambulance. You may have taken enough to cause a stomach bleed or kidney failure. Plase do this, will be about tomorrow if you need an ear ok? Now don't be scared, call them. You are worth it and this can be sorted. Ok? X

You have to go to A&E, I am surprised that CRS did not tell you to do this.

There is nothing anyone online can do in this situation. You have to go to A&E.

I have been to A&E after overdosing, they will be very kind and gentle and also offer you some psychological support.

Please go to A&E now.

Dp is on this..get the medics..NOW! A weeks worth is way too much. Is there someone with you? Please seek help..when they kick in you won't make enough sense to make the call..please get help now!

Oh dear, how awful for you, please don't give up, just phone for an ambulance & tell them what you took & they'll be able to sort you out. What am awfully sad post to read, take care & pls pls don't just leave it, get some help, drugs are dangerous things & you've only got one body xxxxxxx

Think we should get the med help sorted first and then be here to talk to after- time is of the essence with an overdose. Please call ambulance. Will be people on here to support you afterwards

U know what? Phoned out of hours GP, put thru to crisis, they actually laughed at me and told me to phone an ambulance myself! Sorry to worry, don't know what I'm doing, just wanted to know if I should call someone.

Crisis will always encourage you to take responsibility for your actions which is why they have told you to phone for an ambulance yourself. They can sometimes be very short over the phone which is obviously an inappropriate reaction to your distress and fear.

You must go to A&E, this is a physical problem that needs to be managed so while ringing CRS and the CMHT is a good step they will not meet your physical needs. You must go to A&E, ring an ambulance, get a taxi, ask a relative or friend to take you, but you must go.

Okay complaint to made tomorrow:

Now you need to phone an ambulance, you do not want to die do you, you are upset/depressed please do not take this lightly, get yourself to hospital, then can then assess you for some real help possibly not venlafaxine, they are so hard on your stomach and if you go to bed and DO wake up you will feel terrible tomoroow with brain zaps, please get some help tonight, please.
