Fasting and gym / exercise sessions

I’ve started intermittent fasting this week. I did it 6 years ago and it was fab but I’m now much older / post menopausal so I know it’s but going to be as easy this time.
my eating window is around 3-8pm as that fits best with my family routine.
Ive also started going to the gym. I go to classes or have a general training session usually around 12:30 though sometimes a bit earlier, again as it fits in best with my routine. I can’t go in the evenings.

I wanted to see if anyone else exercises during their fasting window and if so, how do you find it? Any tips to make it easier? I’m drinking plenty of water but I’m not finding it particularly easy at the moment.

Alternatively, does anyone change their eating window between weekdays and weekends? So I could do an earlier one mon-Thur and later Fri sun?

I would bring your window earlier on days you work out, and eat something before the gym.

Fasting before the gym is not advised for women. Look up Dr Stacy Sims.

I never eat before the gym in the mornings, not for any reason that just having no time to fit breakfast in before it. It works fine for me anyway. I drink water and on a hot day add a hydration tablet to my bottle. Now I am intermittent fasting but it makes no difference as I wouldn’t eat until lunchtime anyway.
