Breakfast or 16:8? What’s more effective?

I’m finding 16:8 weight loss really slow and I’m thinking whether it’s worth it?

I could just eat 30g water/milk porridge for breakfast and eat healthy meals and maybe still lose weight?

am I missing the point?

If you are eating too many calories during the 8 hours then it will stall weigh loss.
You could absolutely lose weight of you ate reduced calories at regular times instead, or you could just try reducing the amount you eat in the 8 hours and see if that is effective for you?

It’s fine to eat breakfast.

Some people find fasting helpful and some people don’t. Don’t do it if it’s not for you.

Personally I just do 16:8 on my two lowest calorie days. On other days I have a small high fibre breakfast which sees me through to lunch. It's best to try different things and see what works for you.

Breakfast, lunch and a small dinner work for me. Last year I lost 17 kilos in four months and have kept it off with this approach.
Fasting isn’t for me, I found I ate more in the evenings which is my danger zone if I try it.
