Which fasting window best for me?

I’ve been doing 16/8 for a month now and started trying to lose weight 3 months ago. So far have lost 8lbs in 3 months. I’m eating low carb/no sugar/no sweetener and healthy small meals so I am a bit frustrated with how slow my weight loss is. It’s about just under a lb a week. I’m very pleased to actually be losing though for the first time in many years as it’s incredibly difficult to get my weight to shift.
So anyway should I move to alternate day fasting or change my fasting window? I’m eating lunch around 12.30 and then dinner around 7pm at the moment.

You’re doing well. I am also doing 16/8 low carb. My weight loss was as more at the beginning (6 months I’ve been on it) but has settled to similar to you. I’m always a slow loser though, and happy with that. its something I feel I can keep up, doesn’t feel like a diet, and will continue to do even at Christmas/ on holiday etc, unlike most ‘diets’ I’ve followed before (40 years of every diet under the sun).
make sure you’re drinking enough water would be my only tip, that seems to help. And getting enough sleep.

Do read Gin Stephens ....

She suggests mixing them up so your body doesnt know what to expect... I do a mixture - anything from 2 to 8 hours and I seem to lose most consistently when the majority of my days are around 4-5 hours... and I flex to what I'm doing with others so shorter windows when not socialising, longer when I am (including 10 hours!!)
