Are vegetables free on fast800?

I saw this when I was googling, is this right? Or do you count the calories in green veg, salad etc?

I don't eat starchy veg, full stop.

Not on the Mosley version. I have the recipe book and a lot of recipes are just veg and calorie counted.

If you have the will power try to just get on with it, you won't starve.

If not maybe some days on 800 some days 1500 but always within a short window of time.

I count veg and salad, I count everything. I was just surprised to read that you can have as much veg, uncounted, on fast800, according to the site I looked at, I'll see if I can find it again.

If the point is (and I think it is) to stick to 800cals then they can't be 'free'. They are generally low
Cal but they will add up

Ive just finished the Fast800 12week programme which is the Dr Michael Mosley one and im sure i read in one of the articles that they send you that the calorie intake of vegetables vs the nutritional benefit they provide mean they advise you that you can effectively eat as many as you like? As although they have calories, they want you to eat veggies anyway. Ill see if i can find what it said for sure.

I followed the programme loosely (ie i wasnt completely fastidious about calorie counting) and still lost 12kg in 12weeks.

Pretty sure that one of the Fast800 diet books says that non-starchy vegetables and olive oil are free.
