Fast 800 - Vegetarian - Book or App

Hi - I fancy trying this diet as I'd like to shift about 1.5 stone. I've had success with keto in the past, but it was a long time ago, before I was veggie.

I'm now vegetarian and wondered if it's quite tricky? I couldn't see any of the books catering specifically for vegetarians. Is the app better? It's quite expensive!

Thanks

You can do it with the books. The online plan just makes it easier. You need the original red book as it explains the principles. It gives vegetarian alternatives for protein (you need to consume 50-60g of protein a day). Read and fully digest this book first.

Its a mediterranean diet essentially so lots of fruit and veg and beans and lentils and well suited to vegetarians.

If you think you don't get on with beans and lentils (as I did) start small, as the body needs to get used to them. Trust me, I can eat loads of them now.

Thank you so much! I will get the book to start with but will double check the cost of the online plan if it's easier as that might mean I'll stick to it!

Hi, how did you get on? Was googling fast 800 book versus app so was wondering if you’d signed up in the end. Know what you mean about the price.
