I read one the books fast, feast repeat and it did say not to expect any weight loss in the first month but I'm feeling a bit demotivated. I have lost an inch on my tummy and about 2lbs.

Has anyone else not lost weight the first month but found the weight loss kicked in later?

I've been doing 18/6 most days.

How much do you eat per day? If you aren't in a calorie deficit - and that is what fasting is about, reducing your overall daily calories without having to count them - fasting will not really make a difference for you .

Fasting is more than calorie deficit.

Agree that fasting is not all about the calorie deficit.
are you eating healthy and making smart choices?
I didn’t lose weight the first 2 weeks then it just started falling off me!

You’ve still got to eat healthily. Go into your fast having eaten good protein.

I think that a common mistake is grazing throughout your eating window.

I have found it’s been a process. My eating has evolved from an 8-hour window to less and less UPF, to therefore less food and to a shorter window. I’ve focused more on health than weight loss. This has got me to OMAD and the weight is dropping off. Typical!
