16:8 and changing routines

I'm having a go at this. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but know I snack on junk too much in the evenings and some of the sciencey bits make sense to me. It's also supposed be good for managing peri menopause, so let's see.

During the week, I have breakfast at my desk (yougurtl, fruit, nuts) about 10am, a cooked lunch at work and a sandwich or soup meal when I get home at 5pm, so my 8 hours are 10am - 6pm

At weekends with social arrangements, dinner tends to be later. Tonight I won't eat until 7pm, let's say finished by 8pm.

So, does my first meal today need to be later, or my first meal tomorrow, or both?

I'd just skip breakfast the next day. I do 16:8 as a standard now and just push breakfast back or eliminate it if I eat later in the evenings (I'm like you, I started doing it to cut out my evening snacking!)

Presumably if you carry on drinking after dinner that all counts too....?
