HI, I'm six weeks into the fast 800 keto diet and weight loss has gone well. HOwever I'm feeling absolutely exhausted and low in mood, which is unusual for me (I do suffer from depression but have been well for several years on a combination of ADs). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I've also been on HRT for about four months and wondering if this could be playing a part somehow (got really sore breasts on top of everything else). Difficult to tease it all out really! Any advice much appreciated

I’ve done Keto on HRT and not found myself to be exhausted (cold, yes). Not sure about the ADs but I think different things work for different people, DH hates Keto and feels like he can’t get enough calories on an ultra low carb diet.

I did keto for a year and felt brilliant on it, I don't know what the fast 800 is though.

I also felt cold on it!

What are your 800 calories made of? Unless you have an abnormal glucose metabolism, are diabetic or pre-diabetic, consider swapping to a non-keto fast 800.
Success is linked to adherence and sustainability , if you are exhausted and feeling adverse side effects as low mood, consider eating differently.

Check your healthy fats and protein levels. May need to up them.

Try adding magnesium and potassium supplements as its likely you are depleted.
