Will my waist ever return to pre-birth shape?

My youngest child is nearly 10. I have dieted and then regained weight several times, am currently doing the Fast 800 and exercising. I'm nearly back to my pre any children weight (around 13 years ago), and am losing inches from my belly, hips and bum but nothing/very little from my waist. I have been lower than my pre children weight - about a year ago, prior to a sedentary year of academic work.

The bit in between my rib cages used to go straight down before I was pregnant, but its never gone back to flat and still curves outward. I'm wondering if any one else has this post children and if it will ever go in again?

I've always had a chubby tummy even when I was at my slimmest (size 10) but my waist was always small. Not so now because of this kind of doming out around my middle.

My shape changed completely after having kids. My hips widened, my ribcage splayed and never returned to the pre pregnancy shape. Which on the plus side, left me with a waist that actually looked slimmer than before. My belly looks like a deflated balloon and each of my tits look like a golf ball in a football sock. Hey ho. Life goes on. 🤷‍♀️

It's like something inside got pushed out and didn't go back in! Oh well. My feet got a big bigger and flatter too but that's also due to yoga and living in big comfy boots

I just wondered if any one else had a similar thing as I didn't find anything on google. Other people did say about their hips getting wider too.

This sounds like diastasis and needs specialist exercises.
