Does this sound like a plan?

Bit of background, I lost 2.5 stone on 2019 with the fast800 but once the pandemic hit I have gradually put it all back on.

Currently isolating due to having covid so I don't think I could cope with 800 calories every day right now but I'm thinking of starting 5:2 next week.

Does this sound like a plan?

14:10 eating window every day, calories slightly under my TDEE.
Fast two days a week at 800 calories.

I would expect to see results fast that way. I lost some weight on 1200 cal per day a few months ago but it did take weeks to see results. Now I’ve put it back on again 😩.

Why is your eating window so wide?

I think you're likely to put it on again. Why not just try to have around 1600 calories a day and then once you've got the weight off go to 2000 a day. Extreme diets are notorious for piling the pounds back on as soon as you've finished because you feel like youre sacrificing too much.
