Hi all,

I did 16/8 last year and lost about 10lb before falling off the wagon. I'm starting again as of today and wondered whether there's anyone else newly started or just looking for encouragement?

👋🏻

I'm planning on two meals a day, and my eating window being 11/12pm until 7/8pm with lots of whole foods, less processed carbs and no mindless chocolate eating...

Day 3 here and already feeling some benefits, less foggy headed & bloated in the mornings.

I was doing 16:8 earlier this year, went away on a long holiday and haven't got back up to speed yet! I didn't notice any positive side effects at the time, but do like the idea of the longer the fasting period is, the more changes take place in the body as it starts using up the energy stored rather than relying on being fed!

Anyway, long story short, I started again on Monday. I don't find the fasting between 20:00-12:00 to be that difficult, but do need to work on eating better quality food and upping fibre/protein and less carbs (but not looking to do actual low carbing). ie, I read all of The Fast 800 Book but am only applying the Time Restricted Eating part + some other helpful ideas.
