My LO is approaching 5 months, I was doing slimming world but honestly I don't have the time or energy to plan meals etc so I'm considering IF which I've done in the past and works well for me... However, I'm breastfeeding. Has anyone else done it whilst breastfeeding? Will it reduce my supply?

You will be bloody starving. I wouldn't. Surely BFeeding is the one time in your like you shouldn't worry about calorie counting?! I lost around 1-2lb per week between my baby being 2 weeks - around 6 months, without trying.

I'm piling on the weight to be honest 😞 I've not lost anything through BF, I'm one of those who retains unfortunately

I don't have any expertise so this is just opinion. I think I would wait a few months until your baby is getting more from food and (hopefully) feeding a bit less. I don't think I could have coped without breakfast when I was feeding frequently. Even now DS2 is 3 I find I get hungry doing his morning feed in bed. I understand about the retaining weight - I lost a lot of weight after having DS2 but it was through bloody hard work and I found it so frustrating when people said "isn't it brilliant how the weight just falls off" - no it bloody doesn't, I'm sitting here in a cafe drinking mint tea when I should be having a hot chocolate and a cake!
