Any advice? If it's a known thing that wears off after a while once my body has adjusted then no worries - am not in work this week.

Will admit to my alcohol intake creeping too high before I stopped suddenly but I'm drinking plenty of water and eating healthy food (but not after 7).

Another newbie here - I'm only on day 2 but had a similar experience last night - went to bed exhausted but simply lay awake for HOURS! No idea if this is typical though.

Today is day 4 for me - last two nights I haven’t slept all that well because I had to get up for a wee so many times!

Are you doing three small meals or 16:8 fasting? I had more problems with 16:8 eating so have never been able to maintain that.

Yes, it’s a known thing with calories below a certain point and insomnia. I’m not doing Fast800 but if I dip below 1000 my sleep is affected- just when you need it most!!

Hate to say it but took me 6 weeks of IF before I managed to get a good nights sleep as before that I was ravenously hungry. I still wake up in the night hungry about twice a week and I’m on week 8. I’m on 1,300 cals mid week and 1,800 cals on Saturday and Sunday so I’m not even starving myself. I have lost 1 stone and have another 2 to go. It’s a long game!
