Fast 800 and not losing weight

Help! I've been doing the fast 800 for a week now and not lost anything. Not a pound. Which is rather demoralizing. I'm aiming to lose around 20 pounds, to bring me back to close to my pre last child weight.

My current eating plan is i have about 4 tbs plain yoghurt with a few seeds and blueberries on top and sometimes a couple of crackers for lunch, then a small portion of whatever i cook for tea for the family, usually just the meat and veg part so not the carbs. So not definitely 800cal, but not bloody far from it! Sometimes i have some carrot or celery sticks if I'm super hungry. Doing 3 reasonable workout sessions a week and a couple of short ones at home too if i get a chance.

So I feel like i should be seeing some change, anyone have any ideas?

Hi

Are you using an app to record your calories? Do you weigh everything? What's your TDEE?

Also a few crackers for lunch doesn't sound healthy or sustainable.

Are you actually weighing your food? Because if not you may well be eating a lot more calories than you think.

@Monstermmash have you tried the meal plan in the back of the Fast800 cookbook. I’m 3 weeks in (combined with 16:8) and I’ve lost 11lbs of baby weight. It’s been really easy and with the exception of a couple of recipes, I’ve loved all of the meals

Meant to add that they seem to have done the hard work of balancing the carbs and protein across the day. I haven’t done any exercise yet, so will add that in too. Good luck!
