I want to know how folk do a fasting diet when they have kids. As lone parent with 3 kids and work full time I find it hard to fast when having to cook for the kids.
Plus anyone have any tips on how to get kids to eat healthy and try new dishes?

I have a DH and couldn't do it. I tried and I was exhausted

I am trying 16:8 which just means giving them breakfast and having lunch and dinner, we tend to eat as a family weekdays and eat a normal dinner. My DC like things like pasta, fish fingers and sausage, general plain food and I try and give them lots of veggies with it, usually broccoli, peas, carrots and sweetcorn go down well. They get fruit as snacks for school also

I eat with the children, so start my fast around 6pm.

I use a slow cooker so bung stuff in it in the morning and it's ready by tea time. Or make meals like a stir fry or fish and veg which only takes 10-15 mins to cook.

Not sure how old your children are, mine are 5 and 3 and I have my bog standard dinners I know they like and then introduce one new one once a week and serve it with something they're familiar with like mash or rice.

^my kids are 14, 10 and 7. Younger two cope with trying stuff but the older one is alot fussier and likes something one dày then the other. I've tried to cook something seperate for him to others but too time consuming so cook one dish now and if he doesn't like it tough lol

How about the fast 800 diet? You get to eat on fast days and it’s delicious, you just eat less than normal. The recipe book is really good and has some family friendly stuff - i would not attemptvwithout the recipe book.
