Do carbs matter on Fast800?

Hi
I've just started Fast800 and I'm doing ok on it. I was wondering if I should be eating low carb too or is just sticking to 800 cals a day (which naturally lowers my carbs) ok?

I think it's supposed to be Mediterranean based diet? I have the recipe book! So low carb but high on olive oil, eggs, fish etc.

If you get a significant part of your 800 calories from carbs you will be SO hungry it won't be manageable, imo. I really wouldn't try it.

As in, do you need to count carb grams? No, technically not. Although a lot of people do try to limit to 50g per day as a guide. The 800 calories naturally limits your carbs if you avoid the starchy carbs, fruit, and sugar.

However, I do find that lowering my carbs to sub-25g a day gets really good results for me, even though I've been doing it ages and have not much to lose, and even if I eat more calories (eg 1300 but keep carbs less than 25g), I could easily lose 3-4lb in a few days doing this.

Thank you I think my carbs are quite low as I'm using my calories on feta, quorn etc and veg rather than pasta etc .I might count them one day to see how many. I've got another 2.5 stone to lose so will stick with what's working at the mo!
