5:2 diet and sleeping

I've started the 5:2 diet, about 3 weeks in, and I've lost a couple of pounds. However on my 500 calories days I find it hard to sleep as I'm hungry. How do you sleep without over eating or will I just get used to it?

What's a '500 calorie day'?

EssentialHummus · 28/02/2019 21:34

DH had this; he got used to it over time. I’d also try to make sure that you’re getting a lot of bulk for your 500 calories - a pile of veg is the easiest option. Fills you up.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm finding having a later dinner of veg and gravy helping, as it the knowledge of breakfast in the morning. A 500 calorie day is a fast day when I have a maximum of 500 calories

Can you make veg soup? You could have a couple of huge bowls full for not many cals at all.
