Crazy idea but thought I would kick start it. Following James Dunkun 7 day diet. Day one completed. Not sure but thought a week won't hurt. Any one else tried?

How the hell do you think you can lose a stone in a week?? 1lb loss = a deficit of 3500 calories. A stone = 14lb = 49000 calories a week deficit. Even assuming you're a few stone overweight you won't consume much more than 2500 a day which is 17500 calories.

Seriously Hmm

Unless you are very, very overweight, trying to lose a stone in a week is ridiculous.

PestymcPestFace · 10/09/2018 18:50

A stone in a week? Hmm

Serious dehydration and possibly surgery?
Grow up and learn how to eat sensibly.

I’ve done this diet and lost 5 pounds in a week.

Cardiganandcuppa · 10/09/2018 18:57

Well, I lost 10lbs the first week i did Atkins.... so i guess it’s possible to get near a stone, but its obviously not ideal. But you know that.

StormcloakNord · 10/09/2018 19:01

Take it from someone who lost 2 stone in a month...

It goes all back on, it really does all go back on and then some.

Lose it slowly no matter how much you can't be arsed with how long it takes, even putting aside the health risks if you lose a lot of weight quickly you won't be keeping it up.

You’ll just be losing mainly water weight if you drop weight that quickly. My GP said it’s very dangerous to lose more than 3-4 pounds per week as puts enormous strain on your organs

I’m sure it is water, it I lost 5 pounds and didn’t put it back on. I looked a bit slimmer too. So at some point my body must have adjusted to the new weight. I didn’t feel unhealthy doing the diet, but couldn’t do it again because I really hated having fruit for a meal.
