Struggling with exercise on BSD

It’s the end of my first week on the BSD and I’m averaging about 1000 calories per day - just under. DH is doing it too and we’re both finding it hard going at the gym - him with running and me with rowing. We just can’t find the energy!

Any tips and advice? We’re following the book recipes or similar.

Re: the exercise, mosely does suggest doing hiit training and walking, but nothing too strenuous, especially if you are hitting 800 calories. You might find the no energy feeling will pass as you might still be in detox/carb flu phase.

I try to run, but I'm very new to exercise so I do about 15 mins a day on the treadmill and do bursts of speed and slow jogging. It made zero difference to my weight (only started last month) actually I was pretty good all month and pretty much maintained.
