Fasting and painkillers (ibuprofen)

Hello there - bit random. When it's my TOTM for the first three days I need to take a lot of painkillers (usually mix paracetamol with brufen and buscopan). I am doing OMAD at the moment - my eating window is two hours. I know you aren't to take brufen on an empty stomach. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do? Can feel that period will shortly be on it's way. Would a half glass of milk suffice?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help Grin

Could you try co-codamol instead (don't know if these interract with Buscopan but check with your pharmacist)? Milk is better than nothing but I think you do need to take them with food

Milk is better than nothing but it is still really likely to irritate your stomach lining. It's also quite likely to make you sick if you take it on an empty tummy. Sorry but I say take with food, it can cause real problems with bleeding (I'm a doctor, not a gastroenterologist so no expert on it but NSAIDS are well known to all specialties for causing stomach problems).

Thanks to both. Yeah, I rather thought that that might be the case. (Codamol doesn't make me feel very nice so I tend to use the para/brufen and a TENs).

Trying now to think of the minimum amount of food I can take - perhaps milk and a few crackers...
