So it's going well. Lost nearly a stone. Didn't really feel hungry after the first day. My FDs are days when I teach all day so there's no time to eat anyway 
The only bugbear is not sleeping the night after a fast. I'm not hungry - even now (though I am planning a normal breakfast today). I am a wake-in-the-night-whittling type anyway
